Broken Dreams

Okay so after a lonnnnng time , I'm finally back with a new post . I'm suppose to have a new post every Monday but because my laptop was sent for repair last week that was why I did not post anything . So today is not gonna be an interesting post , it's gonna be hell wordy because I'm so so angry right now that I'm gonna rant . There's a test tomorrow and I really should be studying right now but I'm too angry to even do anything .

Okay so it all started like weeks ago when I finally start to think about my future and what course I'm gonna take in Poly ( My family was hoping that I would go JC but its not my thing , I totally have no interest in studying and I can't handle stress ) . I decided to talk to dad about what course I would want to take and I also did some research . My dad told me to follow my passion and do what I like . I've considered the courses like Accounting and Finance , Business just really something that would be useful for me . But honestly my passion has always been baking . So I did somemore research and realise there's a course called Baking and Culinary Science and it's finally what I've been looking for ! So I went ahead and scroll down and went to see what kind of career I could achieve if I took this course . Apparently these are the few jobs : Baking technologists , Junior Chefs , food product R&D executives or food safety Officer . And I'm like I don't want to be a food safety officer or have this kind of crappy job that I didn't like . I want to learn skills in baking , not some stuff you learn about food in theory form  . From there I went to check if there was any baking schools in Singapore and I found it . To get a diploma I just need 5.3 MONTHS  and I'm done . It means at the age of 18 I could start working already . This sounds good to me because if I get to work early I could get promoted at a young age and also start earning money so that I can have enough to support my family and at the same time open a bakery in the future . I was already sure of what I was going to do in my life so I went to tell Dad all about it and you know how parents always telling you that it's OUR life and we should decide what we should do with it ? Thats what my Dad said and when I told him about what I found and what I've decided to do , he told me that this course is useless and if I fail I have no education to fall back except my O levels . Look , if I have a passion in something I would work hard for it . Baking is something I LOVE to do ! I don't understand why he had to make it sound so ugly ( well , he said a whole bunch of other stuff which I'm not gonna say because its inappropriate to be on the internet ) . He told me he wanted me to take something to do with Finance/Business .

THEN WHY IN THE FIRST PLACE TOLD ME TO FOLLOW MY PASSION ? 

And then after the entire incident he told me I could choose what ever I like and said if I suffer it's not his problem . He's obviously gonna be mad if I chose that course . I know he is worried about my future and whether I'm able to earn money next time but why don't he trust me for once ? Why don't he let me try ? I really wanna open a bakery , I want to be a baker . I want to make my grandma proud . But why does everybody asking me to do something that could earn alot of money ? Is money the only thing that matters ? Will money make us happy ? Will driving a huge ass sports car make you happy ? OR would you like to do a job that YOU LIKE and come home happily spending time with you loved ones . I would rather get a low paying job and do what I like , rather than doing something I hate and earning a huge load of money .

Singaporeans are too busy earning money that they don't even care about their happiness ... Its sad to see that everything in this world is all about money . What about the kampong days ? When everyone was so happy even WITHOUT money ! I think everybody should take some time and think what really makes you happy ...

1st Monthsary Weekend

Hai , I'm Back Yo .

Sooooo , I'm fnally back with a new post . YAY . Okay , hahaha , anyways I'll be updating my blog every Monday . Only once a week because I don't find my life that intresting , hahahaha . and there's really nothing to talk about . ( well , ofcourse I'll blog only if I see a need to ) I'm just an ordinary school girl , PLAIN & BORING LIFE . so that is why my posts are mostly what I do over the weekends . hahaha . so lets get on with the post ! :D

On Friday right after school me and my babes went to have subway for lunch . Every Friday it's a MUST to grab lunch only because our school ends at 12.30 . Hehe . For a Secondary School that is a really early release . ( I used to end at 6pm on Fridays , because I had CCA -.- but now they changed it to every Wedesday :D ) So when we went to CompassPoint and when I saw the subway store I was like HALLELUJAH . Have I told you my love for Subway ? -winkwink- I absolutely LOVE subway . LOVE
I TELL YOU .

Had Subway Melt in a wrap while Michelle had Hearty Italian Ham , LiWen didn't eat anything from subway . She went to grab herself a mcflurry at Mcdonalds . Oh ya , By the way Michelle and LiWen are two of my closest friends in School . Really fortunate to have them in my life . <3
After lunch went to collect my customised cookie for my boyf as a 1st Monthsary Gift . LOOKLOOKLOOK .

So after collecting I rushed back home as I had to reach Kallang Pudding Road for a movie audition by 5pm ! Managed to put on make up , here's my before and after photo .

It's amazing what make up can do to your face , and I was also able to snap a photo of my outfit of the day . :D

Simple denim shirt with jeans . Can't really be bothered to dress up haha . So my auditon went well and after that met up with my babe to have steamboat at Beach Road . Sadly I didn't take any photos there . ): but the food was delicious as usual . :D

SATURDAY . Didn't do much on that day just went to visit my god father at the hospital the entire day and went home after that .

FINALLY SUNDAY WOOHOO .

It's my first Monthsary with my boy , I was sooo excited and I changed at least 4 times that day cause I couldn't decide what to wear in the end i just wore a super casual outfit . Pink pullover with jeans . Hahahaha . and I wore that to Orchard . LOL .

Oh and that soft toy I'm carrying its a gift from my boy . Hehe , thanks dear . <3

So obviously I had make up on and the light was doing justice for my face so took a selfie . :P

We didn't do much at Orchard , we just went walking around the malls and I found the store thats sells my all time favourtie dessert , MACAROONS . <3 If you're wondering which storee I bought it from . it's from Laudree . There's only 1 store in Singapore and the macaroon cost a BOMB . Don't get shock when you hear this but its $32 for a box of 6 . Crazy expensive right ! But the macaroons didn't meet my expectations but it was really pretty . Hehe .

Bought the flavours , Rose petal , Chocolate Ghana , Vanilla , salted caramel , coffee , straberry marshmallow and the packaging is damn cute can !  

I know left 5 because I ate the salted caramel one after that I remembered to take a photo . HAHAHA . Greedy me . :P

so basically that's what I did over the week ends so until next time .

SICK

So I've been sick and went to see a doctor , MC on Wednesday and Thursday , was running a fever and a very baddd throat . There were literally ulcers in my throat that even drinking water was difficult ...

but I thought it was a great time to start dieting but I WAS WRONG . With my throat hurting so bad , all those good food was too hard to resist and ended up eating food I SHOULDN'T EAT . and guess what ? My throat became worse ...

So I had to visit the dcotor again on Saturday and was given a stronger medicine .

Now I'm well again ! HAHAHA . But dad said not to eat fried food as I've just recovered but I secretly ate Mcdonald this morning . HAHAHAHHA . NOTHING CAN STOP ME .

Gardens By The Bay

Went to Garden's By The Bay with my daddy on Sunday ! I really recommend families to go there together , spend quality time with your family yo ! Paid $18 for 1 ticket to enter the 2 domes and because we are Safra member we are able to get a 10% discount or else we had to pay $20 for a ticket .

so we ate lunch at this Bistro and the food was fantastic but obviously pricey -_-

I had Tom Yum Pasta and it was FREEEEEE . Only because the one of the clams was spoilt and eeeewww it was disgusting . UGHH . Dad made a complain and yes it was really free . Hehe .

And dessert I had Banana Chocolate Overload ! OHHHMYYYGOODDD . Even the name of it sounds heavenly . AND HELL YEAH IT TASTE AWESOME .

But felt guilty after I ate it all . >: Guess I'll have to start exercising soon . Hahahaha ! While I was enjoying this , I was actually complaining to dad how fattening this was and the waiter suddenly came up to us and asked my dad ' Is this your daughter ? ' and my dad noded and I can't believe what he said next . He said ' Wow , you have a beautiful daughter . ' ALL I COULD DO IS SMILE . I was kind of shy after that . HAHAHA .

So after lunch was to visit the 2 domes ! a few pictures here cause if i were to post all the pictures I took it's gonna seem as though this was a plant research . LOL .

Isn't it just Beautiful ? and we then headed to the other dome and everywhere I looked look like this .

Doesn't it remind you of haze ? HAHAHA for this I think PSI 600 . LOL . And here's a few pictures of me that dad took .
